Upcoming Events:
Our purpose: We are a group of women who are focused primarily on missions, but also on fellowship and "girl time". Our local unit is based through the Springfield Wesley Foundation, located on the MSU, Drury & OTC campuses. We work in conjunction with the Foundation to provide mission opportunities and information to women. Mission speakers are focused on giving information about individual mission opportunities as well.


Meetings:
This year we are trying something a little different. We are going to try to focus UMW on female fun and accountability. Instead of meeting once a month, we are going to have several social events each semester. Look for dates and times on the events. Some events may include: Girls Night, Progressive Dinner, etc. We are also looking to develop small accountability groups that will work hand in hand with the Big Fish / Little Fish program.

Don't forget about the UMW Library. Feel free to check out the books or to donate other books. If you have any questions about the library, talk to Mary.


Officers:
This year, to accommodate a growing Wesley Foundation we have only elected a president. We will have a committee that will plan several events throughout the year such as girls night. We feel this change is necessary now that Wesley is offering more activities during the week.
