Kitchen:
The Kitchen is apart of the Missouri Hotel which is a homeless
ministry located on Commercial Street that provides lodging, meals,
and services to help people who have fallen on hard times. Wesley
serves at the Kitchen on the first Thursday evening of each month
for the academic year of 2006-2007. If you would like to help,
please arrive at the Wesley House at 4pm and we will return shortly
after 6pm.
Spooktacular
Spooktacular is an event where Wesleyans dress up in costumes
and hand out candy at the Dickerson Park Zoo on October 30. Arrive
at the Wesley House at 5pm to go and we traditionally go to Steak
N Shake after 9pm.

Boys and Girls Club
On Thursday, November 9th Wesleyians will go to Boys and Girls
Club to hangout and play games and fellowship. Boys and Girls
Club of Springfield is an organization that promotes the well-being,
social education, and character development of youth with an inclusionary
focus on youth from low income families. Please arrive by 2:30pm
at the Wesley House and we will return by 6:30pm.

Cup O’ Cheers
Cup O’ Cheers is a fundraiser that benefits the Springfield
Ronald McDonald House that includes a house tour of many great
Springfield homes and an arts and crafts fair at the Ronald McDonald
House. In years past Wesleyans have helped with mailings and stuffing
envelopes. The Ronald McDonald House provides low income families
with a low-cost alternative to motels and hotels in order to visit
their hospitalized children. We will serve on Friday 17th from
late morning until early evening.

Missouri Hotel
Wesleyans will have a rare opportunity to make Christmas cards
with the children of the Missouri Hotel on Friday, December 1st.
Supplies are greatly needed from Springfield area United Methodist
Churches. We will meet at the Wesley House at 3pm and return by
7pm. We will ring in the season with holiday cheer and help to
make this Christmas a special treat for the youth.
Salvation Army Bell Ringing
Wesleyans will volunteer to ring the Salvation Army Bell and collect
donations at the Dillons store at National Avenue and St. Louis
Street in December.
