Geetings to All,

I have arrived safely here in Kuwait for my second deployment. I will try to write about once a month to keep you informed on what I am doing. If there is anyone who does not wish to be included, let me know and I will remove your address from this list.

For those of you I have not talked to or written in a while, this my come as a surprise. I have known since this spring about this deployment and have been busy training with my unit. I will do better to keep you informed of my situation.

I am currently serving with the 541st CSSB. This is a support unit that delivers supplies and performs maintenance. I will be working in an office supervising daily operations. This means I will be safe on a camp performing my duties.

My unit is doing some final training here in Kuwait before we move into Iraq. I should be at my base in Iraq early next month. I will send my mailing address as soon as I get it.

As of June 12, 2005, I am back in the states. I am living in Manhattan, KS, not too far from K-State. I should be here for the next year. If you are in the area, feel free to stop by and see me. I will be going on leave (vacation) at the end of the month. I am planning to visit Springfield for several days, though I don't know exactly when that will be. My phone number is 785-375-6862. If I don't answer, it probably means I am busy with Army stuff, just leave a message and I'll call you back.

I am currently in Baghdad, Iraq, and except to be here about a year. I am here with 1-41Infantry Battalion, supporting 2nd Brigade, 10 Mountain Division, supporting 1st Cavalry Division. My role here is still undecided, though I will probably be involved in civil affairs (i.e. building schools, restoring utilities, etc.)
